MSU HOMECOMING PARADE WILL CELEBRATE 2008 FESTIVITIES

Snyder Phillips float Grand River Avenue will come alive to celebrate MSU's 2008 Homecoming - Go for the Green! - with the annual Homecoming Parade at 6 p.m., Friday, Oct. 3.

Featured in the parade will MSU Marching Bandbe the Spartan Marching Band, the MSU cheerleaders, MSU student organizations, Greek sororities and fraternities, East Lansing community groups, several high school marching bands and more.



The parade will begin at the intersection of Abbott Road and Burcham Drive at the East Lansing Hannah Community Center. Parade participants will make their way south on Abbott Road to the intersection of Grand River Avenue and then travel east on Grand River Avenue to Bogue Street. The parade will end at the IM East Field located east of the Wharton Center for the Performing Arts.

Parking for parade watchers will be available at any of the city lots and ramps.Girl Scouts in the parade
